Individual: Computer Disposal Paper

Consider the following: Advancements in computer design are outpacing the life of the computer and its components. Within a matter of a few years, a computer is obsolete and ready to be replaced, leaving its owner with questions on how to properly dispose of the machine. Should it simply be tossed out? Should it be refurbished? May parts be recycled to minimize waste?

Write a 700- to 1,050-word paper describing your plan for the following proposal:

  • Your company is replacing all 500 of its computers with newer machines, and your supervisor has put you in charge of removing the outdated computers.
